We all get excited about naming our new best friend, and when it comes to celebrities, it’s no different. In general, Hollywood stars are known for the most unique names. But today, we’re going to take a closer look at what some celebs named their furry friends.
Paris Hilton – Tinkerbell
Tinkerbell was Paris Hilton’s Chihuahua that she made famous back in the early 2000s. Tinkerbell was very well known for being Hilton’s best friend and best accessory. Hilton often carried Tinkerbell in her purse wherever she went and modeled with her in loads of photoshoots. Did you know that Tinkerbell even survived an attempted kidnapping, in 2004 when she went missing for a week and was returned for a $5,000 reward? Sadly, Tinkerbell passed away at 14 years old. Naturally, Paris was heartbroken! She took to Instagram and posted this, “My heart is broken, I am so sad & devastated. After 14 amazing years together my baby Tinkerbell has passed away of old age. I feel like I’ve lost a member of my family. She was such a special & incredible soul. We went through so much together. I can’t believe she’s gone. I will miss her & think about her for the rest of my life. I love you Tinky, you are a Legend & will never be forgotten.”
Kylie Jenner – Kevin
At the start of 2020, Kylie Jenner officially added a new pup to her home. Jenner instantly took to Instagram and shared two adorable photos of her cute puppy named Kevin. She was so excited about the new addition and his name definitely fits in with the Kardashian- Jenner Franchise. Kylie also has several other dogs that she has adopted over the years.
Jennifer Aniston – Lord Chesterfield
Jennifer Aniston introduced her new pup to the world in October 2020, and his name is not just unique but honestly one of the sweetest we’ve heard. Lord Chesterfield is Great Pyrenees breed and according to Aniston, “he stole my heart immediately”. She also thanked Wagmore Pets for the incredible work, this is the organization that she adopted Lord Chesterfield from.
Adam Sandler – Meatball
Comedian, Adam Sandler was always close to his bulldog, Meatball. It was obvious that the pair were totally inseparable. Sandler also proved that dogs really are man’s best friend, the two had a very unique relationship. Meatball even attended Sandler’s wedding back in 2003, where he was dressed to the nines. In actual fact, Meatball was both the ring bearer and best man. Imagine that? Meatball also appeared in the comedy film, Little Nicky alongside Sandler. Sadly, just a year after the wedding, Meatball passed away.
Jonah Hill – Fig
At the beginning of 2021, Jonah Hill announced that he had officially become a dog dad. The actor, shared his newest addition to the family on Instagram, posting a photo of him with his furry friend — a 3-year-old pit bull named Fig. Hill adopted him from Love Leo Rescue in Los Angeles. He captioned the adorable photo by saying, “Thank you so much @loveleorescue you gave me a massive gift and I appreciate you and the work you and your foster parent volunteers do”.
